Patti Feinstein took the summer off to write. She ended it with a new matchmaking role, a song business, a live column—and one healthy dog.

Henri, her miniature schnauzer, became critically ill. Feinstein kept writing, and a song she had written for Henri unexpectedly became a growing catalog inspired by the material she knows best: dating disasters, relationships, family, aging and starting over.
At the same time, Feinstein was keeping longtime friend and fellow matchmaker Linda Goldfischer updated on Henri. Goldfischer, founder of Naples-based Prestige Matchmaking Pros, was looking for an experienced consultant and suggested Feinstein return to Florida and partner with her.
The timing worked.
Feinstein now brings decades of luxury matchmaking and dating-coaching experience to Prestige Matchmaking Pros, while
The songs created during the summer became *Songs by Henri*, extending many of those same stories—dating disasters, relationships, families, pets and starting over—into music.
By summer’s end, Henri had recovered, *Dear Matchmaker* was live, *Songs by Henri* had been born, and Feinstein had joined Goldfischer at Prestige Matchmaking Pros.
The book? Still not finished.
Feinstein is heading to Florida with her dating computer files, songs for nearly every occasion, an unfinished book called *Why I Married My Dog*—and a bucket of green beans.
